More from the UK on Valerie Plame & Sibel Edmonds- Tip-off thwarted nuclear spy ring probe

Tip-off thwarted nuclear spy ring probe

AN investigation into the illicit sale of American nuclear secrets was compromised by a senior official in the State Department, a former FBI employee has claimed.

The official is said to have tipped off a foreign contact about a bogus CIA company used to investigate the sale of nuclear secrets.

The firm, Brewster Jennings & Associates, was a front for Valerie Plame, the former CIA agent. Her public outing two years later in 2003 by White House officials became a cause célèbre.

The claims that a State Department official blew the investigation into a nuclear smuggling ring have been made by Sibel Edmonds, 38, a former Turkish language translator in the FBI’s Washington field office.

As usual, Luke Ryland has a great analysis of the article up on his blog. I can’t recommend his work on this story highly enough.

From the article, once again-

The State Department official said on Friday: “It is impossible to find a strong enough way to deny these allegations which are both false and malicious.”

Once again, the Sunday Times article appears to have originally had a somewhat different title than what it is now running by. In this case, they’ve left off a four letter (plus apostrophe s) word which rhymes with hole and can be used to describe Avogadro’s number, a burrowing mammal, a Mexican sauce, and an epidermal disorder, among other definitions. Hard to imagine how such a word might have slipped into the headline by accident in the first place…

FBI translator says Israel planted nuclear ‘moles’ in U.S.

I think it’s important that we all work to spread the information we have about the Sibel Edmonds case around the internet. Watch it, email it, comment on it, embed it, blog about it, etc. Or if you don’t like this video so well and think you can make a better one, do so and spread it around. The most important thing is that more people find out about this story which the US media still isn’t covering.

About a month ago, Luke Ryland mentioned a TechCrunch article on how to get exposure for a video. A big factor is the first 48 hours, apparently. If we can’t get this one to go viral, maybe we’ll have better luck with the next one or the one after that.

10 out of 18. As to the 3 ? spaces, I would guess perhaps that there was no picture of the individual available online. Another possibility would be that the individual was identified as a code name on the tapes. All sorts of theories are possible, I’m just speculating…

I don’t doubt that Luke will do a much more thorough and well researched and written piece on these names than I could, I just wanted to jump in with a focus on the 9/11 aspect. Luke contends that Sibel’s case is not really about 9/11, but when I start to look at things like Global Guardian and the E-4B and Scowcroft, Sibel’s left out testimony before the 9/11 Commission, Marc Grossman meeting with ISI chief (and alleged Atta money wirer) Mahmood Ahmed during the week of 9/11, etc. I find that I disagree with Luke’s assessment. Sibel’s case is not exclusively or primarily about 9/11, but it is definitely about 9/11.

Why we need to learn the name Sibel Edmonds

December 6, 2007

What’s the tie between the Valerie Plame affair, the DoJ scandal, ten million missing White House emails and mishandling of crucial intel regarding suspects involved in 9-11? Everything, says whistleblower Sibel Edmonds – but the US media won’t touch it and Congress won’t hold hearings…so far.
