I’m not sure exactly why, but in the last couple of days I’ve had a surge of hits visiting related to Kill The Messenger and Sibel Edmonds.

Today so far

It’s possible that some of those searchers are looking for the 2005 civil war movie with that name, but some are definitely seeking Sibel. I’m glad to see a renewal of interest in the documentary Kill The Messenger and in Sibel Edmonds, the FBI whistleblower who is considered to be the most gagged person in U.S. history.
In light of CBS’s recent remake of the 1976 drama “Sybil” starring Sally Fields (this time starring Tammy Blanchard) how long do you think it will be before we see a remake of the documentary Kill The Messenger- about FBI whistleblower Sibel Edmonds’ story? Yeah, thirty years sounds about right to me too… if ever, that is. Anyway, until then, enjoy this little piece which blazingprattles put together a few months back. Sybil Sibel
Luke Ryland is back to writing about Sibel Edmonds on his blog after being away from it for awhile while travelling. That’s the good news. Other than that, not much coverage, but Luke is always worth reading. His recent pieces are titled (oldest to newest)
The Bill Moyers Journal piece by Rick Karr does have at least one good thing in its favor, though, despite its flaws- it does provide links to further reading, including the Times pieces and the Dallas Morning News editorial piece by Philip Giraldi on this page.
