I found a new tool for the elite social network mapping
NNDB now has a mapping feature for their listed people, companies, think tanks, etc. I’m excited about this for a couple of reasons. Depending on the computer I use, my use of muckety maps has been limited lately. NNDB allows you to add a single individual or company into a map without needing to have it directly connected to anything else in the existing map. I find it to be less finicky than muckety, because you can move things around on a flat surface and they’ll stay where you put them. It reminds me of theyrule, but with more current information, more companies, etc. I’ve just begun the process of taking some of my already gathered names and adding them into a new map on NNDB, which you can see here. I’m not giving up on muckety, but I think this is a good new tool to add to my kit, especially since NNDB has some info on some people which muckety currently lacks.
