a progress report on the Fortune 500 BOD overlap project

As I’ve been working on phase two of the Fortune 500 BOD project for the last couple of days, I’ve seen that it will take me several more days to complete, since I’m still only in the C’s on the companies. What I will probably end up doing since that is the case,  is to post a few letters at a time as I complete them as opposed to waiting until the whole project is done.

As I’ve gone into more depth on each company which I don’t already have on one of the group maps, I’ve found some new names to add to the few names, many boards map, so that post will be updated accordingly, though I think I’ll use this post to add in the new links, rather than revamp the old post. As a “minor group study”, here is a link for a map which explores some of the network for Frank J. Biondi Jr., made while I was looking for the best way to insert him into the few names, many boards map. Once I hit Stephen F. Bollenbach (another new addition) I figured I had my solution. I’d already gone through the Bank of New York/ Mellon company earlier (it appears to be a merger between two of the Fortune 500 companies on the list I’ve been using), so I didn’t bother to expand that out or the Cablevision Systems once I hit Mr. Biondi’s listing. So, this map is not a complete look at the picture, but gives something of a partial look into how one of the “few names, many boards” names fits into the larger whole.

Enough narrative description, on to the maps themselves…
