US to seek death penalty in 9/11 case
The Pentagon is charging six detainees at Guantanamo Bay with murder and war crimes in connection with the Sept. 11 terror attacks on America, and will seek the death penalty.
IIRC, one of those blanket confessions which came out “not under torture” (since waterboarding isn’t considered to be torture in some quarters) included something which the confessee couldn’t have been resonsible for due to it having occurred after his detainment. But, I could be wrong. I’ll see if I can find the little extraneous fact I’m looking for… probably not till later today though.
