If I had more experience with editing wikipedia, I might take a stab at updating the Sibel Edmonds entry myself, but I think it deserves the attention of someone with more practice. Anyone with more knowledge and experience in wikipedia editing, be my guest to “borrow” and use as you see fit any of the below- no citation of this blog necessary, I just want to see more current information over there.
On January 6th, 2008, the Sunday Times of London published an article an interview with Sibel Edmonds entitled “For sale: West’s deadly nuclear secrets“.
She has given evidence to closed sessions of Congress and the 9/11 commission, but many of the key points of her testimony have remained secret. She has now decided to divulge some of that information after becoming disillusioned with the US authorities’ failure to act.
The London Times news story was reported on by media outlets such as
The Times of India, Pakistan’s Daily Times, Iran’s PressTV, Israel’s Haaretz and even the Turkish Daily News.
This divulging of information comes in the wake of an article entitled “EXCLUSIVE: FBI Whistleblower Sibel Edmonds Will Now Tell All - and Face Charges if Necessary - to Any Major Television Network That Will Let Her” published on Brad Friedman’s blog a few months earlier stating that Sibel Edmonds was willing to tell any major US television network everything she knows, provided that they “air the entire segment, without editing”.
Shortly after the London Times article came out, Just A Citizen, Sibel Edmonds’ official site, published without comment a page entitled Sibel Edmonds’ State Secrets Privilege Gallery, showing pictures of 18 faces and three boxes containing question marks. Luke Ryland has put names with those faces on his blog.

I tried updating it several days ago (see the ‘history’ section on that article) and my update was deleted within hours - then Google and Yahoo promptly stripped their caches of the web site I referenced there for further info! I have deep suspicions about whover is doing the master editing there, as a result…!

Good to know. I suggest that future attempts at edits should immediately archive the result using webcitation.org. That way, at least we have a permanent record of how it SHOULD look, even if hardly anyone gets to see the results. http://webcitation.org/
Wikiscanner might be useful as well http://www.webcitation.org/5Upr1vJLr

FYI - here’s the link to the Wikipedia page edit which was deleted within hours of being posted. I tried to keep it concise and to the point, and so referenced just one ‘encyclopedic’ link web page to get people (including, hopefully, journalists!) reading and researching for themselves.

Yeah, the narcotics industry worldwide is worth more than the oil industry. Narcotics is worth $1,000,000,000,000 per year. Regarding heroin, about 90% of it comes from Afghanistan, now — thanks to the Bush Administration overruling the UK and making it safe not just to grow poppies, but to refine heroin in Afghanistan, now, too. Previously, they had to send opiate to Turkey for refining.
One aspect of the World Trade Center attack that hasn’t received adequate attention is that, while the attack had just happened and the people were evacuating the building, and the fire department was climbing the stairs, the computers in the WTC continued to work, and a record number of stock trades passed through them in that time. It seems pretty obvious they were laundering money.
Then, they collapsed the WTC towers, burying the evidence. They also collapsed WTC 7, which had not been hit by a plane, but which held offices of those agencies that investigate white collar crime and fraudulent stock trades: in addition to burying the evidence, they buried the offices of the investigators. Then, Giuliani made sure the crime scene was cleaned up in record time, no questions asked.
These guys killed thousands of Americans on 9/11, and set in motion a course of events that has so far resulted in two wars and thousands more deaths — all to protect their heroin- and nuclear technology trafficking, and to further their heroin and other businesses.
Gagging Edmonds and messing with Wikipedia are small potatoes, and there’s plenty of payola floating around to make sure stuff like that happens.
Cheers!

That’s a great 1 page link list you’d put in the Wikipedia entry:
