This map took me longer than I would have expected, mostly because some of the connections which I have on my theyrule map appear not to have been entered into muckety yet. The trickiest part was getting CBS/Viacom without being able to use William H. Gray III as a connector. Focusing on just the 8 + Sony (not including in BODs for Gannett, WaPo, NYT, Tribune, etc.) probably made it a bit more challenging as well. However, the result is at least somewhat manageable to look at. Doubtless, there are other connections I could have chosen instead of the ones which I used, I just wanted to get them (the Big 8, plus a sampling of companies which some of their BODs also sit on)all together on one map with fairly minimal excess clutter. I may well pare it down further at some point, as well as cluttering it up further with some expansion.
Without further ado, however- check out the Big 8 skeletal + Sony muckety map.

Using my prior knowledge and research for the theyrule map I made, I figure it shouldn’t be too challenging for me to work out the more interesting interrelationships between BODs of some of the big companies and the big 8 media/news (Microsoft, Google and Yahoo included, as per Mother Jones).
Here are a couple of quickies for Google- the first is pretty much just the Google BODs/advisors and their connections of interest. #2 throws Apple in, since several connections exist between the two companies.

more to follow… I’m thinking Google/Disney, Yahoo and Google/Yahoo as next steps; probably News Corp somewhere in there as well. Don’t mind me, I’m just in the candy store with my allowance in my pocket…

I ran across a couple of articles which I found interesting pertaining to Sibel Edmonds- I haven’t fully explored the ramifications of them yet, but thought I’d note them here briefly. The first one, which is a couple of years old, focuses on Judge Reggie Walton; I’ve independently verified quite a bit of the information in it, but not all of it. The second one has to do with large financial transactions during the summer of 2001, and has just been published- article by Jim Hogue.
Judge Reggie Walton: From Oklahoma City to 9/11 to Valerie Plame/Libby Case by W. David Jenkins III
this article focuses on Judge Reggie Walton- dismissed Sibel Edmonds case, presided in the Valerie Plame/Scooter Libby trial, number two under drug czar Bill Bennett in the George HW Bush regime, dismissed a lawsuit on the Oklahoma City bombing in connection with Iraq, financial records for 2003 redacted, etc. http://911citizenswatch.org/?p=794 http://www.webcitation.org/5VEBCQ2jk http://www.webcitation.org/5VEBGGDa3
Follow the Money? God forbid by Jim Hogue
exerpt-
Warning bells about anomalies in the fiscal sector were sounded in the summer of 2001, but not heeded. Among those who has since raised questions was Bill Bergman. As a financial market analyst for the Federal Reserve, he was assigned in 2003 to review the record of July and August of 2001. He noticed an unusual surge in the currency component of the M1 money supply (cash circulating outside of banks) during that period. The surge totaled over $5 billion above the norm for a two-month increase. The increase in August alone was the third largest single monthly increase since 1947, even after a significantly above-average month in July.
